Dear Sir,

I refer to your editorial "Still a Bad Bill" on February 14. It says that "...... Mrs Ip cited Osama bin Laden"s latest message to buttress her case for draft bill containing the latest version of the Government"s proposals." As I never made any reference to 'Osama bin Laden's latest message" in the press conference yesterday, I am puzzled by this reference. Perhaps there has been some misunderstanding arising from simultaneous interpretation of my remarks in Cantonese. I would be grateful for your clarification and correction.
